Transcend space and time in a sonic bathing experience on Herring Island.

Flow State

It’s the middle of the night and you’re alone on an island, floating in the heart of a city. Flow State uses bathing, sound, light and sensation to probe our awareness of space and time—an experience like no other for a few lucky souls.

After disrobing and showering you’ll travel by boat on the Birrarung (Yarra) river to Herring Island, where you’ll disembark and climb into a private, heated, sound-making bathtub. Soundwaves in the water—heard as they travel through the body’s fluid tissue; and vibrate the skull and inner ear nerves—intermingle with soundwaves in the air, inviting you to enter multiple states of consciousness.

Flow State is a high-value, thematically complex and technically adventurous experience; and its ambition means it’s only available to a small group of festival goers. RISING believes art is an essential service that should be accessible to all, so is offering tickets to Flow State exclusively via a low-cost raffle. Buy up to 10 raffle tickets for the chance to take part in this singular festival experience.
