Communitas Workshops

The annual ritual of Communitas is officially kicking off again. It's the SHOUSE-led mass-musicking event where everyone's in the band, including you. And this year, it's even bigger.

If you're unable to attend a workshop in the lead-up because of other commitments or location, that's totally fine. Register your interest below, and we'll contact you about securing your spot closer to the day.

Attend a workshop

Head to one these workshops to help create and craft the songs you'll all be singing at Melbourne Town Hall.

• All workshops are free to attend

• You can attend as many workshops as you like (but spaces are limited, so if you can no longer attend please email ticketing@rising.melbourne)

• Attendance guarantees you a ticket for the event in June

What to expect

We’ll be learning three simple, powerful songs. No experience needed. Just bring your voice and your vibe. If you have an instrument, whatever it is, bring it along. If you don't or are instro-curious, there will be some for you.

These workshops are for all. They're happening in Brunswick, Newport and Geelong and they go for an hour to hour-and-a-half.

There’s space to stand out or blend in. If you joined us last time, we need you back. You know the magic. Help us build it again. There’ll be singing. There’ll be moving, there’ll be a little chaos and a lot of collective joy.
