LOCAL BUSINESS PROGRAM
As a major cultural event supported by Visit Victoria and Creative Victoria, RISING aims to invigorate the city during winter and support the City of Melbourne’s night-time economy with unique and engaging programming.
The Local Business Program aims to help business leverage a flux of visitation in the CBD this winter throughout the festival period, 01—16 June.
We invited small businesses that make up the fabric of the city to participate and be part of RISING, Melbourne’s newest major cultural festival.
Retail, restaurants, cafes, pubs, clubs, entertainment venues, tourist attractions, cultural institutions, hotels and accommodation providers, within the CBD were all invited to participate. Businesses within The City of Melbourne have been getting involved in two ways with the most creative and impactful offer or shopfront having the chance to win $1,000 cash and a $250 RISING voucher.
