Artist call out : ONE SONG HISTOIRE(S) DU THÉÂTRE IV
Tue 2 April
Limber up and join the cast.
We're looking for three people to join ONE SONG HISTOIRE(S) DU THÉÂTRE IV. The brainchild of Flemish artist Miet Warlop, the show is one single song performed over and over. The squad of performers run an obstacle course of balance beams, treadmills and trampolines while the cheer squad rallies them on.
We need three performers to be part of the cheer squad on the stands—to unite in choreographed support as the show reaches for the finish line.
If you're interested, there are some things for you to consider:
- You'll need to be fit, but that doesn't necessarily mean you are one of The Australian Ballet's principal dancers (though great if you are!)
- You're happy to share your fitness level in the application form (eg. "I'm training for a half marathon"/"I work out at the gym three times a week")
- Ideally you have long hair, and are happy to provide a recent photo
- Be available for rehearsals 12 and 13 June and performances 13, 14 and 15 June. You'll need to keep your days free on 14th and 15th June as well, in case we need to do some fix ups
Payment is $1400, excluding GST plus super.
