Melbourne indie-jangle heroes expand their sound at the Recital Centre for a rare hometown show.

Stalwarts of the indie underground, worldwide. The high school friends-turned-band-mates Stefan Blair and Liam Parsons now live in Los Angeles and London, respectively. But they’re playing a rare hometown show at the Melbourne Recital Centre for RISING.

It’s an acoustically deluxe venue befitting the orchestral sounds and crackles on Seven, their most expansive, ambitious album yet. Think Dick Diver, Liz Phair and Brian Wilson soundtracking a black-and-white musical about drifting into your thirties.
